Xtreme Missions Challenge Is HERE!
Our Xtreme Missions Challenge Conference kicked off tonight. It was a great, high-energy event. Thanks for taking part and making it special! To recap, all of the missionaries received special gifts from our small groups and classes. Also, all of the missionary wives received $250 to use for shopping on themselves on Friday afternoon. Then, Jason Williams's Junior & Senior English Class made a special presentation. They raised money for the MANNA Feeding Center in Belize. They presented Dan Weaver with a $750 check and with 60 special MANNA shirts to take back to Belize for the children. We also took up a "Pre-Wave Offering" for the missionary kids because they are going to Disney World tomorrow. Amazingly, over $1,500 was given...that's $221 per kid! Then, we broke up into small groups and got to know the missionaries a little better. After that, there was a Family Feud style skit and the missionary Q & A Panel. It was a wonderful night, and a great way to kick start the Xtreme Missions Challenge Conference.
